This portrait of my mother and father was an anniversary present. The young lady behind my dad is my mother at college age. The young man behind my mother is my dad just out of high school. He soon inlisted in the Navy to go fight WWII. The monochromatic color pulls the old and new together to create a senimental piece. Dad died in 1988. This picture hangs on Mom's living room wall, a constant reminder of the years they shared.
